How you can help Parents & Friends, Inc.Community support has always been essential to Parents and Friends, Inc. Funding for PFI programs and services is primarily provided through the State of California, Department of Developmental Services, and Department of Rehabilitation. Necessary additional support comes from fundraising, donations, private foundations, local governments, and contracts with private businesses and government agencies. All services are provided at no charge to participants. As a non-profit organization, gifts to PFI are tax deductible.
Contribute a cash gift. Your gift may be designated for a specific program or purpose or to our general fund. If you choose to make your donation a memorial to honor friends or family, your gift will be acknowledged with a letter to the designated person or family. Donate used clothing, furniture, books and other items to the Paul Bunyan Thrift Shop and the Paul Bunyan Furniture Annex. We appreciate receiving items that are in good condition and ready for sale in our shops. You will receive a receipt showing your tax- deductible donation. Sign up for eScript. A percentage of your weekly grocery bill at Safeway will be donated to PFI! It’s easy! Call Amanda at 707.964.6859. Attend one of our fundraisers or donate food or merchandise for use at one. The Hoity Toity Fashion Show and Tea is a popular event in the spring.
